The Search for the Lost Dutchman’s Gold Mine
Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine is a superb team building exercise stressing the benefits of collaboration, communication, and leadership. This engaging challenge, focused on mining gold and having fun with the serious purpose of generating ideas that improve workplace performance. It readily links to business issues such as changing goals, performance, productivity, teamwork, leadership, and employee engagement. A major result of the Dutchman simulation is the demonstration of the importance of trust, good interpersonal communications, and collaboration. Seven Seas Quest / Buccaneer
Seven Seas Quest is a seafaring adventure team building game involving 18 months (real time of 2 minutes per month) of sailing to the Islands in the quest to save the world. Its sister game, Buccaneer, is the same design but its theme involves stealing the gold back from the Pirates. In either exercise, each ship's crew has certain assigned responsibilities and the crew must make a series of decisions about what information to gather, what path to take, how to optimize results and how best to sail back home.
 The Rescue of the Zampopos
The Rescue of the Zampopos requires skilled teamwork and collaboration. Teams are challenged to rescue Zampopo eggs and save the species. Teaches the value of communication, planning and execution. This team building exercise illustrates the value of a mutually supportive relationships and gives everyone a chance to lead and follow. This is a high energy activity that can be provided in one, two, three or four phases, depending on available time. Please note that The Rescue of the Zampopos requires a modest amount of physical exertion.
